Mikhayla Elyse is a fun-loving 15-year old native of Maryland. Mikhayla is a natural performer and oftentimes, she is considered to be very humble by most who know her or have witnessed her gifts and talents. When off-camera, she also has no problem showing her comedic side. Along with her enjoyment of performing, she also enjoys baking, playing flute and piano, architecture/interior design, problem solving, watching thrilling/action and Sci-Fi movies, playing video games, and writing essays on random topics. She also has great voiceover skill, and has outstanding memorization ability.
In addition to her academic schedule, Mikhayla regularly receives private flute instruction through The Urban Flautistas. She has also participated in regular acting classes held at Catapult Acting Studios, McKinnon Acting Studios, Talented Young Folks, Shooting Future Stars, voice lessons with Voice Coach/Mentor Stacy Lattisaw-Jackson, former R&B Artist, along with piano and drum lessons at Pee Wee Piano School of the Arts, a Christian faith-based corporation dedicated in helping children in identifying and growing in their God-given gifts and talents. Mikhayla’s credits include performances in school musical productions, singing as an unintended child vocal soloist of Reid Temple’s Children for Christ Choir alongside the award-winning Gospel Artist, Kurt Carr, at the 6th Annual Spirit of Praise Celebration at Evangel Church, located in Maryland in October 2013. She also appeared as a lead in both presentations of Pee Wee Piano’s More Than A Dream musical as “Child Tia”, with second performance held on stage at the Publick Playhouse, located in Cheverly, Maryland in May 2016. She has also played a lead in First Baptist Church of Glenarden's, "The Uncut Coming of Christ" for two years. She has also performed in the multiple short film productions and tv pilots. |
